solutions

Our teeth deteriorate over time from the food and beverages we consume, teeth grinding, poor dental hygiene and other culprits. We can restore your teeth to their original condition, or better, and will help you prevent further damage.

Technology

Before applying new technology, Dr. Van Putten performs thorough research. Once it’s passed inspection, he invests in the latest and best equipment and dental supplies. Our office is all digital and chartless; fiber optic illumination and magnification assists in viewing procedures; lasers detect cavities faster; and our ultrasonic electric scaler hydrates and flushes under the gums with baking soda polishing available to give you the ultimate experience when having your teeth cleaned.

We care about how our treatment indirectly affects patient health, that’s why we stopped using mercury fillings over 15 years ago and have special filters to clean our water before it leaves our office.

specialist support

In cases where there is need for a specialist, we refer to periodontists and oral surgeons that have proven to us they are at the top of their profession. Frequently, we’ll complete prototypes and face bow measurements and then meet face-to-face with the specialist so we can review the case and deal with potential issues in advance.

SAFE ENVIRONMENT & INFECTION CONTROL

Our office is constantly developing and upgrading its safety measures as recommended by the American Dental Association, OSHA and the U.S. Center for Disease Control. Some of the precautions we closely follow to assure your peace of mind and well-being are:

  •  Gloves, Masks, and Protective Eyewear
  • Weekly sterilization monitoring services to insure effectiveness of equipment and procedures
  • Sterilization of all instruments placed intra-orally
  • Sterilizations of hand pieces (drills)
  • Disposable and single usage to prevent cross-contamination
  • Staff meetings to upgrade standards and keep staff well-informed
